The Garden of Isolation. 🌿

Flowers are the hallmark of spring and gardens are a place from them to grow with the intimacy of a human hand. We plant, and we tend to care a lot about flowers, simultaneously trying to combine our efforts and skills with the forces of nature. This piece contains flowers and plants that can be found in my garden, and it was created so I can pass on to you a never withered garden that exists timelessly in full bloom. 💜

Lavender, lilac, cherry buds, cherry blossoms,a fern and a coreopsis lanceolata (a type of sunflower) were all sketched out based on my garden’s plants and sawed from sterling silver sheet, then careful engraving combined with proper formation gave life to the garden.

Asphodel ring

An asphodel blossom sits on top of a beautiful raw quartz at the side of the ring band is the main part of the flower. Asphodels are beautiful white flowers and in Greek mythology were connected to the dead and the underworld. When souls entered the gates of the kingdom of Hades the Judges decided where to sent the souls. Asphodel Meadows was for ordinary souls, who haven't commit crimes or achieve greatness. The Elysian Fields, where souls of heroes and demigods were accepted and Tartarus where the wicked souls entered to be tormented for eternity.
I wanted to create and asphodel piece since last collection but my plans cut short, the important thing is that I finally created the piece I wanted. 💜

The lilac garden

Every time I see lilacs I remember these lines from Eliot's poem

"Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire,stirring
Dull roots with spring rain."

I read this poem when I was about 20,I wasn't reading a lot of poetry but these few lines have stuck with me ever since. Nature and plants has been a theme for so many artists all across the art spectrum and rightfully so,they are here forever, they are going to bloom no matter what. And I love that,my plants don't care about anything, they are all blooming at the moment and making the spring feel a bit better 💜

Quartz points and lilacs

Lilacs have been in my garden for the longest time,my mom used to have one in the front gate and it has huge. Always buzzing with myriad bees, always blooming and stealing the spotlight from the other flowers. It came to my art through a grimoire page that I got dedicated to lilac. When I stop studying it I knew I had to pay homage to this beauty and so I did. This is the second time I'm using this beautiful flower in a collection, associated with banishing and getting rid of negative energy is the best flower to use at the moment.

Alexandrite ring

This beautiful hexagon, lab created Alexandrite has found its place in this handmade bezel surrounded by hand-cut baroque details.
The natural Alexandrite is an extremely rare stone and is as valuable as diamonds.
"Emerald by day, ruby by night", Alexandrite is a color change mineral, this specific one has a hint of blue that I wasn't able to capture,in camera reads more like an amethyst.

Milk thistle and amethyst

Milk thistle and amethyst 💜

In this collection I wanted to cherish the biggest inspiration of mine,my surroundings, all the flower and plants in this collection can be found in the perimeter of my house. I'm lucky enough to have a garden filled with greenery and flowers that are forever changing so my inspiration is never blocked.
Now this specific piece. When I made my thistle necklace back in early February lots of you told me that it remind you of Scotland and fair enough because it's their emblem. I didn't know that and learned through you!💜 I picked thistles because they grow wild at the back of my house and they are present in my childhood and adulthood furthermore I think they are beautiful! In Greek the actual translation of what we call them is "donkey-thorn” and I still find it to be a weird name.

Carnelian bracelet with moons

The triple moon bracelet is making an appearance in the upcoming collection!🌙 This time a rectangle carnelian is taking the place of the full moon and at the edges of the bracelet there are two tiny oak leaves. The stones in this collection reflect the midpoint in seasons, the earth is cold and the trees are stripped from their leaves but on the other hand spring is approaching and the nature starts waking from her sleep.
